Program description

After a customer completes a purchase or service with a business that uses Local Business Manager, we send that customer one text message asking for feedback on their experience, plus at most one reminder if they have not responded. We send these messages only to customers who opted in through Local Business Manager's own consent forms. We do not send marketing or promotional messages through this program, and we do not buy or rent phone numbers.

How to opt in

Customers opt in by entering their mobile number and ticking an unticked consent box on a Local Business Manager consent form. The box states the program name, what will be sent, that message and data rates may apply, and how to opt out. Consent is not a condition of any purchase. Examples of the consent forms are on our SMS compliance page.

Message frequency and cost

Message frequency varies. You will receive no more than two messages per completed purchase or service: one feedback request and at most one reminder. Msg & data rates may apply.

Help and opt-out

Reply HELP for help, STOP to cancel. After you reply STOP you will receive one final message confirming that you have been unsubscribed, and no further messages. Carrier liability

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Privacy

Your mobile number and consent records are handled as described in our Privacy Policy. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
